2.8.2 Work on electrical components
Unplug at the mains before performing maintenance work.
Improper work on live components could result in electrocution
with loss of life.

All covers, housings etc. related to electrical components may
only be opened by authorised qualified electricians for the
purpose of carrying out maintenance and repair work.
 The wet separator must not be operated without its cladding

Never remove the affixed stickers from the wet separator.
2.8.3 Moving parts
All moving parts are covered by fixed guards.
If an item of cladding is removed and the wet separator is
operated, there is a risk of injury. The wet separator may not be
operated without cladding.
2.8.4 Cleaning
The wet separator may be cleaned only with water or standard
commercially available cleaning agents.
The liquid container (including the viewing window) of the wet
separator must be emptied and cleaned after every shift / after the
end of work.
If the vacuumed up material is incompatible with cleaning agents,
hazards may arise.
A check must be made to ensure the material vacuumed up will
not react chemically with the cleaning agents used or with water.
The person cleaning the wet separator must wear appropriate
personal protective equipment.
