USE
WARNING! Do not connect the deep fryer to the socket-outlet before you have filled
the oil container with oil.
• Check before each use that the control panel is correctly mounted and that the heating
element in the oil container is immersed in the oil.
• Fill the oil container with cooking oil. The amount of oil should be between the MIN and
MAX markings on the inside of the oil container.
Do not overfill the oil container.
The
minimum amount of oil is 2 litres, the maximum quantity of oil is 3 litres.
• You can use vegetable oil, corn oil or rapeseed oil.
Do not use olive oil, margarine, lard
or butter.
Do not mix old and fresh oil or different oils and fats.
• If you want to use solid oil, it must be melted first.
• Insert the plug into the socket-outlet. The ”ON” indicator light is lit.
• NOTE!
Do not connect the control panel to the socket-outlet if it is not mounted on the deep
fryer. Do not immerse the control panel, plug or electric cord in water or other liquid.
• Set the desired temperature using the dial for temperature setting.
• The ”Ready” indicator setting is lit when the set temperature is reached.
• Lift up the frying basket and fill it with food (the frying basket must not be filled when it
is immersed in oil). Ensure that the food does not end up outside the frying basket. Do
not overfill the frying basket, the maximum amount of food is 700 g. The frying results
are better and the frying is faster if you choose smaller quantities and fry a few times.
WARNING! When filling with frozen food the frying basket should be placed outside
the deep fryer.
• The hot oil can splash and cause burns.
WARNING! Do not overfill the frying basket when frying frozen food. Remove ice
from the frozen food, otherwise oil can spill over when the food is immersed in it.
• Carefully immerse the frying basket into the oil container so that the oil does not splash.
• The lid should be on when frying.
• Turn the dial for temperature setting to
OFF
mode and pull out the plug from the
socket-outlet when frying is finished.
• Slightly lift the lid in the direction away from you so that the steam disappears and
then lift up the lid completely. Do not stand with your face directly above the deep
fryer, the hot steam can cause burns.
• Lift up the frying basket (hold the handle), place it on the oil container and let the oil
drip off before the food is served.
WARNING! Let the deep fryer cool down completely (about 2 hours) before you clean
it or before you put it into storage. Never move the deep fryer with oil in it.
WARNING! Remember that the deep fryer’s metal cover gets hot during the frying.
Do not touch the cover when the deep fryer is switched on.
