8.2 RUN-IN 

 

The engine should be run in without the chain bar, the chain and the chain wheel protective 
cover, until  2 full fuel tanks are consumed at idle speed, but, at 15 min. time intervals, the 
engine must be brought to full throttle for 10-15 sec. to remove unburned oil accumulated in 
the muffler. This accumulation is normal and, due to idling, when complete burns do not occur 
and the exhaust gas is not properly removed. During run-in, the spark plug must be cleaned 
between refuelling as it is charged with the calamine resulting from combustion. Otherwise, 
the chainsaw cannot start. 
 

CAUTION! 

Do not start the engine while holding the chainsaw with one hand. The chain can 

touch your body. This is very dangerous

.

 

9. CHECK THE SUPPLY OF CHAIN LUBRICATING OIL 

After starting the engine, run it at medium speed and see if the chain 

oil is spread as shown in the figure below. 

(1)  Chain oil  

The oil flow can be changed by turning the pump bolt to 
"+"  or  "-".    This  screw  is  located  at  the  bottom  of  the 
clutch. The rotation is only partially left-right, it does not 
screw in! (For machinery with adjustment)                                                                                                                                                                                        

Make adjustments according to your operating conditions. 

The oil tank should become almost empty when the fuel runs out, as long as you have refilled 

both tanks. Make sure you refill the oil tank each time you refuel the chainsaw.

Before starting work, read the "Safe operation" section. It is recommended to cut small logs. 

This also helps you get used to the product.
