Individually setting up the flue pipes
The SURPRISE is equipped with two different flue pipes and a matching cap. These are thin-walled
stainless steel pipes measuring 1.0 and 0.5 metres in length. We recommend using flue pipes up to 2.0
metres in length. Otherwise, the weight may be too high and the increased surface area makes the pipe
highly susceptible to wind, increasing the risk that the pipes will be damaged or even fall down in case
of strong winds.
Even if the 2.0 metre pipe height is not exceeded, we recommend to fixing the pipes with screws for
better stability.
Self-tapping screws can be screwed in from the
inside until the pipe is clamped. To access this
spot, the deflector plate must be removed in
advance.
Other pipes may be used. The connecting pipe’s outside diameter is 196 mm. The pipes must be
selected accordingly. The maximum load of pipes on the main body must not exceed 20 kg.
