SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

Always operate the heater in the upright position following all instructions and

       recommendations listed in this manual.

During the heaters initial use,you may experience a slight odor or smoking. This is the

result of residual lubrication on the steel “burning off”. This is normal and will go away

after a few minutes of use.

Use your heater only in dry environments. This heater is not intended for use in a

bathroom, laundry area, or similar locations, or near sinks, washing machines, swimming

pools or other sources of water. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or

other water container. Do not use heater outdoors. Do not use in damp environments such

       as flooded basements.

Switch HIGH: provides 800 watts of heat output with TWO tubes Illuminated  Switch

LOW: provides 400 watts of heat output with ONE tube illuminated.

OPERATION

Place the heater in the area of the room that is coldest.

1. Plug the heater directly into 120volt A.C., 60 Hz electrical outlet. Ensure the plug fits tightly

in the electrical outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating and damage to the plug

    or heater.

To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that is servicing

other electrical needs. Ensure that the heater is at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from walls,

       furniture, and other obstacles.

2. The heater has two heat settings: 400 and 800 watts. Rotate the Control Dial to desired

setting. Use the 800 watt setting to raise the room temperature quickly. Use the 400 watt

setting to maintain the room temperature.

3. Rotate the control dial to the OFF position to turn off the heater. Unplug the heater when

    not in use.

OSCILLATION
