Trouble shooting of antenna system DELTA 200 S
1.
No function of any instruments connected to the AV 205 incl. VHF
1.1.
Check the cable installation according to the installation plan.
1.2.
Check if the green indicator lamp of the AV 205 lights.
1.2.1. Indicator lamp lights
Check the cable between AV 205 and the antenna DELTA 200 S for break. Checking the
resistance of the antenna incl. antenna cable with an ohmmeter will indicate 25 - 100 Ohm.
1.2.2. Indicator lamp is off
1.2.2.1. Check the power supply of the AV 205 and the fuse inside the AV 205 (0.5 A medium blow;
5×20 mm).
1.2.2.2. Disconnect the antenna cable at the AV 205. If the indicator lamp lights now, there is a short
circuit at the antenna cable or at the antenna DELTA 200 S.
1.2.2.3. If the indicator lamp still is off, there is a fault at the AV 205 - pull out the plug-in modules of
the AV 205 (make a note of their position!). If the indicator lamp lights now, one of the modules
is defective, otherwise the AV 205 is faulty.
2.
No function of a single instrument connected to the AV 205
2.1.
If the instrument is connected to output 1 or output 2, check if a suitable plug-in module is
inserted properly into the AV 205.
2.2.
If the instrument is connected to one of the fixed wideband outputs (3 or 4) or to a plug-in
module BB, check if the trimmer potentiometer associated with the output is turned on.
2.3.
Check the cable between the AV 205 and the instrument for short circuit or break.
2.4.
If the instrument has several antenna inputs, assure that the correct antenna input is selected
at the instrument.
The antenna, the distribution box and the plug-in modules may be repaired by authorized
specialists only!
