Use as a brush/upright vacuum cleaner
3.1 Preparing for use as a
brush/upright vacuum
cleaner

Put the telescopic tube (Fig. 2/1) supplied into the in-
take opening (Fig. 2/2) as shown. The telescopic tube
release button (Fig. 2/3) must snap back and click into
place audibly.

Adjust the length of the telescopic tube.
- Press down the release latch on the tube (Fig. 3/a) to
do this.
- Then extend the telescopic tube to the desired length
(Fig. 3/b).
- Let go of the release catch while pulling until it locks
in place.
- You will hear a distinct click.
3.
Turn the upper cable storage device all the way anti-
clockwise (Fig. 4/a).
4.
Take the cable from the upper cable storage device
(Fig. 4/b).
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Only assemble the appliance if it is not
connected to the power supply. Otherwise the machine
might start up and parts of your body, hair or pieces of
clothing might be sucked in.
