ALARM SYSTEM
Register Tone
cash register has an audible tone that sounds to confirm registration each

Entry Error Alarm In using the register all operations must be performed
tne proper sequence To prevent operator errors the register
sound a continuous tone alarm an operation
performed incorrectly To clear the error lock condition the operator simply presses the
Clear [C] key determines what error was made and continues to operate
the proper sequence IMPORTANT When an operation
begun but not completed
the
position turning the control lock to another position

Clear Key As described above the clear [C] key

HIGH DIGIT LOCK-OUT
To prevent the operator from making an entry
the register of an erroneously
price the register can be programmed to limit the
number of digits that can be entered
the transaction The register can be programmed to Lock-Out" after an entry of three (9 99) to
(9999 99) digits To make an entry above the programmed "Lock-Out" limit use the Release key to make an entry up to the
maximum seven digits
