COUNTERFEIT DETECTION FUNCTION
Canadian Setting,
UV (Ultra-Violet), Infrared, and DD (Dimensional Detection) are used to detect counterfeit or
suspect banknotes. In the event the bill counter discovers a counterfeit or suspect banknote it will
stop and beep. The suspicious banknote will be positioned to the top of the banknote stacker.
This banknote has not been counted. Counting can be resumed by pressing the RESET button
US Setting:
In US setting, UV (Ultra-Violet), Infrared, Magnetic and DD (Dimensional Detection) are used to
detect counterfeit or suspect banknotes. In the event the bill counter discovers a counterfeit or
suspect banknote it will stop and beep. The suspicious banknote will be positioned to the top of
the banknote stacker. This banknote has not been counted. Counting can be resumed by
pressing the RESET button
Dimensional Detection is done automatically. The first banknote counted serves as reference for
the rest o the counting. The bill counter will stop and beep if it encounters a banknote which
length, width or thickness is different from the original note. An error code will be displayed to
indicate the type of suspect banknote. The suspicious banknote will be positioned at the top of
the banknote Stacker
Adjustment Screw
The adjustment screw (#7) has been set for the ideal setting for
use with Canadian and US currency. You however may need to
adjust the feeder aperture if the following problems occur during
counting
Frequent jams or banknote passing the feed with difficultly: Turn
the adjusting screw counterclockwise to make the aperture wider
Frequent EE5 or EEA error message Turn the adjusting screw
clockwise to make the aperture smaller
Important Note: The adjusting screw is very sensitive.
Move only a notch (1/4 turn) at a time
