1. Product Description
1.1 General
The convenient frost guard is ideally suitable for quickly heating small rooms or rooms only
used for a short time such as bathrooms, hobby rooms or garden sheds. It can therefore be
used to protect water pipes or items sensitive to frost thanks to its pleasant convection heat
distributed evenly in the room without annoying operating noises. The low net weight of the
frost guard means it can be transported without any problem.
1.2
Type plate
The type plate of the frost guard with all relevant technical data is attached on the rear of
the appliance.
1.3
Area of application and intended use
This appliance is constructed according to the state of the art and the recognized technical
rules of safety. Nevertheless, improper use or use other than that intended can result in
hazards to the life and limb of the user or third parties or damage to the appliance itself
and/or other tangible assets.
Possible applications include use in the bathroom, protection for water pipes. Uses the
principle of convection without annoying operating noises. With automatic temperature
monitoring and infinitely controllable thermostat. The air openings on the bottom of the
appliance must remain freely accessible – therefore the frost guard must be mounted on
the wall.
A different use or a use extending beyond this is deemed to be improper. The user shall
bear the risk. Proper and correct use also includes observance of the operating and instal-
lation notes as well as compliance with the maintenance terms.
1.4
Product safety
In order to avoid potential hazards in advance, the following safety devices have been
installed by the manufacturer as standard:
Overheating protection
If the maximum permitted appliance temperature is exceeded, the appliance will automati-
cally switch off and cannot be restarted until it has cooled down.
