Connecting tools
This procedure assumes there is a tool attached
to the tiltrotator and that the quick coupler is in its
locked position.
• Check that nobody is present in the machine’s
working area.
• Open the quick coupler lock as described in
the Control system operation section.
•
Make sure the indicator rod is visible (figure 8).
• Rotate the quick coupler so that the part furthest
away becomes visible. Check that the locking
cylinders are fully retracted (figure 9).
• Check that the quick coupler and the attachment
fitting on the tool ready for connection are
properly in line (figure 10).
