7.2 PRODUCT-SPECIFIC SETTINGS
For
smaller and/or harder
fruits and vegetables, like
carrots, the half-circle shaped inset should be taken.
This reduces wedging or jamming as well as ejection
when filling, and the force used is less.
Always use high speed (Level 2) for carrots and other
hard products!
Smaller and/or harder fruits and vegetables
Soft and/ or round fruits
For an optimal and fast process of soft and/ or round
fruits, like apples, pears or peeled oranges, the round
shoot (without inset) should be used.
Use the large plunger.
Many fruits do not need to be crushed beforehand this
way.
Set the speed switch to Level 1 for apples and very soft
products! For most other products Level 2 is better.
Make sure that the groove in the shaft insert (see
arrow) with the deflector on the lid corresponds.
