9. Functional faults
Loads cannot be lifted
• Check to ensure that the permissible max. lifting
capacity has not been exceeded
• Check whether oil has escaped – if so, the hydraulic
cylinder is defective and must be replaced
• A seal in the cylinder interior could be defective –
the hydraulic cylinder must be replaced
Load cannot be lowered
• Is the locking mechanism still locked? Then pump
once with the lifting pedal so that the locking
mechanism can be unlocked
Locking mechanism does not click into place
automatically
• The locking mechanism’s screw connection may be
too tight, which means that the locking mechanism
cannot move freely
10. Maintenance
The lift’s hydraulic unit is maintenance-free and
should only be used to check for oil loss. If oil is
escaping contrary to expectations, the entire hydrau-
lic cylinder must be replaced. Please contact your
dealer regarding this matter.
Regular maintenance includes a monthly visual
inspection of the welded joints and checking whether
parts of the frame structure are bent or broken. It
must also be checked whether all the screw connec-
tions are tight. Moving parts should be lubricated
monthly for low-wear and smooth running.
Clean the lift regularly with a means suitable for
ferrous materials. Avoid water or other aggressive
cleaning agents.
The rubber bearing surfaces should be cleaned and
degreased with a mild cleaning agent. Do not apply
grease to these platforms under any circumstances.
11. Disposal
Before you dispose of the lift at the end of its service
life, clean it carefully. Remove the hydraulic cylinder.
Please remember that many components are made
of valuable raw materials and can be recycled.
Therefore, never dispose of the hydraulic lift with the
domestic waste; please take it to your collection
point for scrap metal instead. Many thanks for your
