7. Recording with established connection to a computer or to USB power adapter
1.
In order to allow longer recordings with the Red Box external power supply via USB is recom-
mended to conserve the battery and to avoid data loss. Connect the Red Box via USB-cable to a
computer or to a power socket using the USB power adapter.

Connect the ROCOOL 600 to the Red Box. The power will be supplied via USB.

See chapter Recording. Please note that the data will be saved on the Red Box when using exter-
nal power supply. The main screen will display “Ext Mem”.
8. PLAY Mode
The play mode allows displaying the recorded data on the screen of the ROCOOL 600. When the
Red Box is connected the external memory is read out. When no Red Box is connected the internal
memory is read out.

Press Play / Pause

to start the Play Mode.

An Overview of the recorded data appears on the screen. Use the arrow buttons

to navigate
between the different data sets. Date, time and year indicate when the data set was recorded.
The number of samples indicates how much data was stored (e.g. sample rate of 10s and 39
samples

recording time of 390 seconds).
3.
Use Play / Pause

to choose the desired data set. The screen will change back to the main
screen.

Press the arrow buttons

to scroll through the samples and to see the changes of the values.
5.
Press REC

to check which sample was chosen.

Press Mode (5) to exit the Play Mode.
