USING THE MACHINE
SWITCHING ON / OFF
- The device may only be connected to a 230 V single-phase AC mains outlet with the same
voltage as stated on the machine’s rating plate.
- The mains circuit must be equipped with a 16 Amp fuse.
- The machine may only be connected to an earthed socket. Additionally, we recommend the
use of a residual current circuit breaker.
SETTING THE WORKING TEMPERATURE
- Excessive temperatures and pre-heating can lead to the workpiece smoking heavily when
cut and under certain circumstance can lead to damage to the cutting blade. For best results
test the temperature setting before starting work.
- The cutting blade must not be excessively hot or be pre-heated until it glows in order to cut
the materials it is designed for use with.

Instructions for operation
- In order to carry out a trial cut, use the temperature control (3) to set the temperature to medium
then hold the cutting blade up to a piece of waste material and pull the trigger (2).
- Guide the cutting blade in the required direction of cut. The speed of cut is dependent on
the type and the thickness of the material; and on the working temperature.
