5. Place the end plate (driver end) over the motor shaft as shown in Figure E. Position the end plate in the annular groove at
the rear of the coupling guard half (driver end) & secure it with a bolt, nut, & two (2) washers through the round hole at the
rear of the guard half. Finger-tighten only.

6. Adjust the length of the coupling guard to completely cover the shafts and coupling as shown in Figure F, by sliding the
coupling guard half (driver end) toward the motor. After adjusting the length, secure the guard with a bolt, nut & two (2)
washers through the slotted holes at the center of the guard & tighten. Check tightness on all of the nuts on the guard
assembly.
