Long-term Hair Reduction-Hair growth cycle
Two factors play an important role in optimal long-term hair
reduction:

Hair growth cycle involves three phases: Anagen, Catagen, and
Telogen. Anagen is the growth phase, while Catagen and Telogen are
the resting phases. Permanent hair reduction can only occur during
the Anagen phase.

Skin types (according to the Fitzpatrick scale) are illustrated on the
diagram below: Darker skin contains more melanin, which competes
with the targeted hair for energy light absorbed into the skin, there is
a greater risk of adverse effects, and the epidermis may be damaged.
