Synergy 1 and Synergy 100 Maintenance Guide (v16-S1)

Frame Diagnostic Tools – Synergy 1

The Synergy 1 switcher provides several frame diagnostic tools:

•

Frame TX/RX Test

•

Frame DIP/Jump Test

•

GPI  Test

•

Frame Tally Test

•

Internal Video Test

Each frame diagnostic function is discussed in the following sections.

Frame TX/RX Test

The 

Frame TX/RX Test Menu

 allows you to test frame communications with various remote control 

and communications ports. 

Use the following procedure to test frame TX/RX functions:

1. Navigate to the
