Overview
The DAC-8013A SDI to Analog Component Converter offers an economical means of converting a
serial digital component (SDI) signal (SMPTE-259-C) to analog component format in order to feed
RGB monitors or other analog component equipment.
The
DAC-8013A also functions as a serial distribution amplifier and provides one serial re-clocked
output. Input cable equalization is exceptionally good, being able to operate fault-free with 650-ft.
(200m) of 1694A cable. An LED indicator displays the input status of the card.
The ability to monitor certain signal faults and report in SMPTE 269M format is also available.
The
DAC-8013A occupies one slot in the Ross DFR-8104 1RU and the DFR-8110 2RU digital rack
frames. It is also fully compatible with the Leitch* 6800 series digital rack frame.
