7.4 Fans
7.4.1 Setup
•
Before connecting the unit to the mains the initial operation should be made
according to the VDE regulation
•
Make sure that the operating switch is set to ZERO (OFF) and protected
from restarting before you open the fan enclosure.
•
The fans should be operated exclusively while installed only after correct
installation of the protection unit (suction protection) and with closed doors.
•
Before the startup of the fans check the heat recovery, the heater and the
corresponding frost protection if the outside temperature is less than 5°C
and operate them if necessary in order to prevent the unit from frost damage
•
Check the unit for forgotten tools, foreign materials and dirt and clean it if necessary.
•
Check all clamping elements of the fan to ensure that they are properly fixed.

Before starting the power supply it is necessary to check if all assembly components are ready
for use and to adjust them.
•
Check the correct function of the fan when you start it up (air supply, balance, vibration or
imbalance).
•
Check the gap and the gap cover according to the following drawing:
