Electrode orientation

The electrodes in the sensor are properly oriented when the two
measurement electrodes are in the 3 and 9 o’clock positions or within 45
degrees from the horizontal, as shown on the left side of 

Figure 3-4

. Avoid any

mounting orientation that positions the top of the sensor at 90 degrees from
the vertical position as shown on the right of the Electrode Orientation
figure.

The sensor may require a specific orientation to comply with Hazardous Area
T-code rating. Refer to the approrpirate reference manual for any potential
restrictions.
