Ensure that there are no more than 10 tracks on the SD card, and that each is named
correctly i.e. B01.mp3, B02.mp3 etc
The MP3 player takes a few seconds to initialise once the panel is switched on. Try
pressing play again a few seconds after turning on the panel
Check that the MP3 card has not been damaged on placing it in the panel
Is the ‘Lock’ switch on the side of the memory card set? It should not be set to ‘Lock’
for correct operation. The little white slider switch on the side of the memory card
can be moved by hand to and from the ‘Lock’ position
If you have removed and replaced the panel front, check the panel front is on
properly so that the slot for the MP3 card is correctly aligned and that the MP3 card
has not dropped into the panel interior
The Panel sometimes changes colour randomly, and then goes back to its pre-
programmed sequence
The panel may be picking up Wi Fi signals from somebody nearby who has a Colour
Match Panel or an 8 Colour Wirefree Controller.
If you have 2 neighbouring rooms each using Wi Fi products, then the devices in both
rooms can be controlled by any nearby Wi Fi controllers. An "All-In-One" Controller
would be required to alter the wireless settings to operate without interfering with
one another.
There are no replaceable fuses in this unit. If in doubt turn the power off, wait 1
minute and turn it on again.
The Panel does not always respond to the buttons on the bottom of the panel
Remove the panel cover, and check that none of the cables have worked loose from
behind the switches.
Check that none of the wires have become damaged
If all the cables are intact and still connected, the control board may be faulty.
