• The appliance is designed for a max. continuous operation time of
2 minutes under full loading. If this time has been reached, the appliance
has to cool down for at least 10 minutes. If this is not observed, the motor
might be damaged!
• Prior to each use make sure the blade unit and the gasket are positioned
correctly and the blade unit got screwed in tightly!
• Attention: Hazard of injury! The appliance has a delayed motor stop –
therefore, do not remove the top cover from the glass jar before it has
stopped!
• Attention: Hazard of injury! Do not touch the running blade –
neither stir in the glass jar with a spoon or other objects!
• Attention: Hazard of injury! Mind a secure fitting of the cover. Only
work with top cover closed firmly!
NOTE: Before using the appliance, ensure a correct assembly of the unit. Especially check whether blade unit and
gasket are fitted well and the blade was screwed in firmly!
HINWEIS: If the power plug is connected to the mains (with rotary knob in ON position or in between MIN and
MAX), the electronic system recognizes an operating error. Another operating error is recognized if the jug is lifted
at a rotary knob position other than „OFF”. This safety function averts an unintended activation of the appliance.
For remedy simply unplug the appliances and turn the rotary knob to OFF-position.
Filling the glass jar
• The appliance must be switched off. For this turn the rotary knob to the left to OFF-position and disconnect the
power plug.
• Remove the top cover from the glass jar.
• Fill the glass jar with food (observe the max. filling quantity!).
• Place the top cover with attached measuring cup on the glass jar and press it on firmly. The plastic lip must cover
the spout.
Starting/stopping the appliance
• Before plugging the appliance in, make sure that the rotary knob is in OFF-position!
• Connect the appliance to the mains, now the unit is in the standby-mode, displayed by a permanently glowing LED
pilot lamp behind the decorative ring.
• Now turn the rotary knob to ON-position and the unit is in ON-mode, displayed by a blinking of the 3 LED pilot
lamps of the function buttons.
