10. Air filter / Spark plug

Cleaning the air filter

The air filter can be cleaned according to the following steps. Generally we 
recommend to contact a professional mechanical service for cleaning the 
air filter.

1. Loose the screws of the air filter cover and remove the cover.
    Remove the air filter.

2. Clean the air filter with a suitable detergent. Therefore the filter needs 
    to be put in this detergent for a while.

3. After the cleaning the air filter needs to dry completely.

4. Immerse the filter into engine oil.

5. Re-install the filter and the cover.

WARNING!

A defective air filter needs to be replaced 
immediately!
The surface of the air filter needs to be 
immersed with oil slightly only!

Spark plug

Clean the spark plug with a piece of hand wire or steel needle.
Adjust the gap to approx. 0.7 to 0.8 mm.
When replacement is needed, please pay attention that a spark
plug of type C7HSA needs to be used.
