Since older lenses can only be used with
stop-down metering, the stray-light com-
pensation range for open focusing hood
is frequently exceeded. It is therefore
advisable to take the reading with the
magnifi er fl ipped up, and your eye should
be as close to the magnifi er as possible
to shield the focusing screen against direct
exposure to light.
