5. Using the Device
Getting started
1. Insert an SD card (not supplied) into the SD card slot on the back of the slide film scanner with the label
facing up . The SD card will click into place when properly inserted .
Remove the SD card by pressing on it until it clicks into place and pops out, then remove it from the slot .
Note:
This slide film scanner accepts SD, SDHC and SDHX cards with a maximum of 64 GB as additio-
nal memory . Format the SD card if it is not initially compatible with the device . If you want to keep the
contents of the SD card, store it in another location before formatting it .
Button explanation
1 . Setting button: Press this button to enter the SETTING mode .
2 . Power button: Press it to turn the device on / off .
3 . Left button: Move to the left or follow the information on the
display .
4 . Right button: Move to the right or follow the information on
the display .
5 . OK button: Press this button to enter, save / exit or save / reset
the selected instructions .
6 . Playback button: Press it to enter the PLAYBACK mode .
7. CAPTURE button: Press this button to enter LIVE VIEW / CAPTURE mode.
Note:
There is a difference between SAVE / EXIT and SAVE / BACK .
SAVE / EXIT: Takes you back to the start page .
SAVE / BACK: Takes you back to the submenu you are currently using .
The home screen has 3 submenus: PLAYBACK, CAPTURE and SETTING.
Note:
The device automatically switches to record mode when you press the CAPTURE button.
