GETTING STARTED

Checking the Battery Level

The battery level is displayed on the LCD.

Note:

•

Remove the batteries from the camera if they will not be used for an
extended period of time to prevent corrosion or battery leaks.

•

To extend battery life, the camera will automatically power off after 30
seconds of inactivity. To change this setting please refer to p.50.

•

For better performance, please use NiMH rechargeable batteries.

•

The camera's battery level indicator may not accurately reflect the state of a
low current rating alkaline battery.
