Use the TIME/VALUE dial to move the cursor to the effect
that you wish to use. For this example, select an effect such as
“P041 :[GT:Rock Lead].”

After you have selected an effect, press [F4 (Exec)].

Press [PLAY (DISPLAY)] to return to the original display
screen.

Press [FADER/MUTE] so that the IN (input) indicator is lit.

Raise and lower channel fader 8, and verify that the source
volume changes. The input channel fader is used to make fine
adjustments in the recording level. Set it to an appropriate
position.
