the Demo Songs

Use the TIME/VALUE dial to move the cursor to the demo 
song “SeemsSoRight.”

Press [F4 (Exec)]. “Select Song, Sure?” (Are you sure that you 
want to select this song?) will be displayed.

Press [ENTER/YES].

If the current song is not protected, “STORE Current?” (Store 
the current song?) will be displayed. If you wish to save the 
current song, press [ENTER/YES]. If not, press [EXIT/NO].

The song will be selected, and you will return to the play 
condition display. 

Different types of songs (for the VS-1680, the VSR-880, the VS-880, and VS-
880EX) are distinguished by different icons.

The demo songs are 
protected so that their 
content cannot be modified 
(Song Protect) (Owner’s 
manual p. 48). They cannot 
be recorded, edited, or 
stored. If a demo song or a 
song for which Song 
Protect is turned on has 
been selected, the “STORE 
Current?” message will not 
appear, so you can skip 
step 7.
