Press [FADER/MUTE] so that the TR (track) indicator is lit.

Press the [STATUS] button of the track(s) that you wish to
write to the CD. For this example, press the track 7 or 8
[STATUS] buttons. [STATUS] will light red.

Use [ ] [ ] to move the cursor to “START.”

Specify the beginning of the area to be deleted. Press [ZERO],
and then press [F2 (NOW)].

Press [ ]. The cursor will move to “END.”

Specify the end of the area to be deleted. Press LOCATOR[1],
and then press [F2 (NOW)].

Press [F4 (Exec)]. The Track Cut operation will be executed.

When the Track Cut operation is completed, the display will
indicate “Complete.” Press [PLAY (DISPLAY)].
