KEY TRANSPOSE
Key Transpose allows you to shift the range of the keyboard in semitone units.
It is a convenient feature to use when wishing to accommodate the pitch of a singer’s voice, for
making songs in a difficult key easier to play, or when you wish to play notes located beyond
the normal range of the keyboard.
Setting the Amount of Transposition
Hold down the KEY TRANSPOSE button, and press either VALUE UP or DOWN to set the
amount of transposition.
The amount of transposition is set in semitones, within the range of +/– 2 octaves (–24 to 0 to
+24).
Turning KEY TRANSPOSE ON/OFF
Once the setting for transposition has been made, the keyboard can be alternately transposed
by the same amount (ON), or returned to standard pitch (OFF) each time you press KEY
TRANSPOSE.
Press the KEY TRANSPOSE button, and confirm that its indicator is lit.
KEY TRANSPOSE is now ON.
To turn it OFF, press the KEY TRANSPOSE button again, and confirm that the indicator has
gone out.
