OPERATION IN LOCAL MODE
ROKKY can work in local mode without internet connection. The devi-
ce is completely managed from the level of the keyboard located on
the device. Remember that in local mode ROKKY has only standard
heating power management functions.
Before you start operating, check that the heater’s mechanical switch
is in the „I” position.
To switch to the local mode , press the „-” key on the radiator control
panel for 10 seconds.
Pressing the „+” or „-” key changes the heater power output. In the local
state, the diodes indicate the heating power level of the radiator. It is
possible to set 11 ranges of heating power.
The heater heats up periodically depending on the set level of heating.
For example, if the radiator is set to approx. 50% of the heating power,
it means that it will be heated at full power for about 30 minutes in an
hour. For a radiator with an exemplary power of 540W, this means a
power consumption of about 270W / h.
The design of the ROKKY radiator protects against scalding, automa-
tically limiting the temperature of the radiator to a maximum of 75 ° C
(+/- 5 ° C), regardless of the current setting.
