The following picture shows the local sidetone functionality of the GB4000V. Please
note that local sidetone is applicable for VoIP mode, only. Its main purpose is to reduce
the echo for the air traffic controller in VoIP mode caused by latency of VoIP RTP
audio packets (up to 200ms) signaled back from Rx module.

An example for configuration of the remote sidetone functionality is given in the next
picture.
