V-networks such as the R&S ENV4200 may also not contain any power fuses.
Therefore, the connected mains supply must be sufficiently fused. The maximum
permissible continuous current voltage is 200 A. Accordingly, the power supply must
be protected at 200 A.
The device does not have an on/off switch. An interrupting device that the user can
easily reach must be provided at the AC supply end to prevent the user from working
with AC supply voltage. The AC supply voltage must not be activated until the V-
network and the equipment under test are completely connected. Removal from
service must be performed in the reverse order: First disconnect the V-network from
the mains supply and only then disconnect the EUT from the V-network.
The V-network is not fused in the operating circuit. The user must ensure that the
operating circuit between the power supply and the V-network's power connector is
fused correctly.
