7. Using a 5/16 in. socket, remove the #10-32 hardware holding the stainless
steel guide/stop plate in place, and then remove the guide/stop plate

8. Remove the flapper by sliding it to the right until it stops and then
pulling it towards the front of the contact ( Figure 36 ). The trip (magnet)
coil and coil core are now exposed (The contactor not shown for clarity).

9. Remove the coil core ( Figure 37 ) and trip (magnet) coil using a right angle
Allen key. The contactor is not shown for clarity.

10. Slide the coil core from the trip (magnet) coil and then place the
replacement coil onto the coil core.
