Go online, then switch the controller to Remote Run mode.

Open the Controller Tags window.

Select the Monitor Tags tab.
An array of input and output tags were generated for each of the six scanned
devices. To control the output relays for the scanned device, use the output tags;
to obtain diagnostic information from the scanned device, use the input tags.
Logic Explicit Messaging
CompactLogix, ControlLogix, and SoftLogix controllers can read and write
specific information to and from DeviceNet modules on the same DeviceNet
network on the Ethernet/IP Communications Auxilliary using Explicit
Messaging.
An example of configuring a ControlLogix explicit message using the MSG
instruction is to read the Diagnostic parameter from an E3 Plus Model and EC5
Overload Relay.

In the interger array named MSG_Read_Request, define the number of
attributes to read and list the specific attribute numbers.
