Operation

When Preset Scan is selected, the radio will
sequentially sample each preset tuner frequency
for five seconds each. (Up to 18 FM or 6 AM
presets)

Preset Scan Select

Press the P.SCN button to enable Preset Scan
mode.

If a preset station is active when P.SCN is
depressed, then the preset stations will be
sampled sequentially beginning at the next
higher numbered preset.

Preset Scan Cancel

Press the P.SCN button a second time to cancel
the Preset Scan mode. It is also canceled by all
buttons except LOUD, EJECT and audio volume
functions.

Display

During Preset Scan tuning, the display will
indicate “PSCN,” frequency, band indicator
and channel preset.

Considerations

Preset Scanning will continue until the function
is canceled. The tuner will wrap around from
the last preset of FM3 to the first preset of FM1.

Initial Power-Up Defaults

On initial power-up, Preset Scan will default
to Off.
