The Auxiliary Audio Mode accepts audio inputs from
devices such as DVD, VCR or a Video Game. The
RFX8350 & RFX8350RDS source units have the abili-
ty to switch between two audio sources.
AUX Audio Mode
1. Press the MODE button until “AUX1” OR
“AUX2”* is displayed (Fig. 1).
2. The Auxiliary Input will immediately "see" the
auxiliary audio input being fed into the AUX1 or
AUX2* RCA jacks.
LCD Display
1. AUX1 or AUX2* will be displayed for 5 seconds
2. After 5 seconds the LCD will revert to the
default display
NOTE: The input signal connected to the AUX
RCA jacks is fed into the source unit prior
to the volume control. If the AUX input
source has a constant (non-adjustable) out-
put level, the volume control on the face-
plate can properly adjust the amplitude.
The maximum signal the AUX circuit can
accept without clipping is 4.0V RMS.
More than 4.0V RMS input voltage can be
applied to the circuit, however the signal
will be clipped (producing gain overlap).
