The following descriptions refer to both ailerons,

but are shown on one side only.

Screw the brass rudder horn with Loctite in the ai-

lerons. Milling a small notch in the wing, so that the

rudder horn does not start at the rudder deflection

down.

ARF

15

Shrink the two servos and grind the underside well.

Trim the servo horn as shown and drill the second

hole from inside to 1.6mm. The hole distance is

here about 9mm. Put the servo in neutral position

and screw the horn.

ARF

16

Also sand the bottom of the servo opening in the

wing well with coarse sandpaper.

ARF

17

Take two 25cm length servo extension cables and

connect them to the servos. If MPX connectors are

to be used later for connection to the wing, leave

the other side of the cable unplugged.

ARF

18

Thread the extension cables through the wing.

If necessary, solder the MPX connectors.

Make/take two additional extension cables of

approx. 15cm, which serve as a patch cable to the

receiver.

ARF

19

Make the link with two clevises and one M2

threaded rod. The clevises are screwed directly to

each other due to the small space and secured with

Loctite.

Connect the linkage with servo and rudder horn.

ARF

20

Align the servo by sliding it in the slot so that the aileron is neutral when the servo horn is neutral. In order to fit the cover later, the linkage must also be

perpendi-cular to the aileron.

After aligning, fix the servo with a mounting clamp. Then use a cannula to apply thin superglue between the servo and the wing.

Alternatively, the bonding can also be done with good resin, the alignment then takes place after application of the resin.

Make sure that the servo is perfectly glued to the wing! A faulty gluing can represent a safety risk and cause personal injury as well as property damage,
and the linkage must also form a parallel line to the servo in order to ensure the smoothest possible and most precise linkage! This can significantly
influence the later flight characteristics.
