1. Installing the aileron pushrod
Thread a servo extension lead (No. 4645) through
the wing root and connect it to the aileron servo.
Wrap tape round this connection to prevent it wor-
king loose. Screw the servo permanently in the
recess. Glue the horn in the slot in the aileron using
cyano, then set the servo to centre (neutral) from the
transmitter, and connect the pushrod to the servo.
Connect the other end to the horn. Check that the
aileron is deflected neither up nor down when you
tighten the screw. Repeat the procedure with the
second wing panel.
2. Joining the wings
Use Ropoxi 5-minute epoxy to glue the plywood
joiner in the wing centre section. Thread two servo
extension leads (No. 4645) through the wing centre
section from the underside, and connect them to the
two aileron servo leads. Wrap adhesive tape round
the connectors to prevent them working loose. Now
glue the wing panels to the wing centre section
using Ropoxi 5-minute epoxy.
