Assembling fuel tank plug
Fit seal (4) on tank plug flange assembly (1) driving it fully home
as shown in the figure (X1). Apply a thin layer of white grease on
the big O-ring (5) to prevent it from wearing down due to contact
with fuel. Fit the big O-ring (5) in the relevant seat of the
tank plug
lower part (C6). Position the tank plug flange assembly (1) on the
tank plug lower part (C6) and fix the profiles (1A) on the seats (C7)
as shown in the figure (X2).
Start no.6 screws (2) on the tank plug
flange assembly (1). Tighten no.6 screws (2) to the specified torque
as shown in the figure (X3).
Montaggio tappo serbatoio
Montare la guarnizione (4) sull’assieme flangia tappo serbatoio (1),
portandola a battuta, come mostrato in figura (X1). Applicare un
sottile velo di grasso bianco sull’anello OR grande (5) per evitare
che si deteriori a contatto con il carburante. Montare l’anello OR
grande (5) nella sede della parte inferiore
tappo serbatoio (C6).
Posizionare l’assieme flangia tappo serbatoio (1) sulla parte inferio -
re tappo serbatoio (C6), fasando i profili (1A) sulle sedi (C7), come
mostrato in figura (X2).
Impuntare le n.6 viti (2) sull’assieme flangia
tappo serbatoio (1). Serrare le n.6 viti (2) alla coppia indicata come
mostrato in figura (X3).
