7. TESTING AND MAINTENANCE
Before proceeding with any welding operations or connecting the welder to the
mains power supply, always check the following points:
7.1. Electric protection: the power point must be protected with a highly-sensitive
differential circuit-breaker (I
Δ
=30mA).
7.2. Rated power supply voltage: this must be 110 V (for 110V version)
This must be 230 V (for 230 V version)
7.3. Extension plugs and cables: these must be suitable for the power absorbed by the
machine (see table below):

7.4. Cables: these must have suitable insulation in perfect order; they must not be laid
in areas affected by the transit of vehicles or walkers; and they must not be
susceptible to the effects of chemical agents and/or particular physical strains.
7.5. Machine housing: this must be insulated and placed in a stable position.
Keep the machine and connection cables clean and dry. Before proceeding with
any cleaning operations, always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
For cleaning, use a soft cloth dampened with water or methylated spirit (never use
any kind of solvent).
