Problem Probable Cause Solution
1. DOK-LOK barrier does not raise/
lower
a. Debris in roller track/base.
b Defective gas spring
c Rollers need lubrication
a Clean debris from roller track and base
b Check if gas spring has enough force to
lift the barrier
c Lubricate barrier rollers
2 DOK-LOK barrier drops causing
lights to change and/or horn to
sound while trailer is being serviced
a Defective gas spring a Check if gas spring has enough force to
keep barrier in contact with R I G
3 DOK-LOK lights are out a Bulbs burnt out, loose or missing
c Incorrect wiring
d Power source malfunction
a Check all bulbs and replace as
required
c Verify wiring per Electrical Schematic
d Check power source including building
circuit breaker and 1A fuse on power
module
Gas spring should continue
to lift the barrier once the
barrier reaches this position.
Note: If barrier does not raise
see problem #1 in the
troubleshooting section.
