Powering On/Off

Forcibly Powering Off
If the device does not function normally under the power-on state or the de-
vice cannot be powered off, power off the device forcibly.
1. Press and hold the power key for more than ten seconds.
Important
- When you power off the device forcibly, be sure that the data is not being
written/read.

Turning the Power-On Mode Selector Switch
The power-on mode selector switch is used to supply power via the exter-
nal power jack. The switch is turned to the "A" side for normal use. When
it is turned to the "B" side, power-on/off of this device can be controlled by
supplying power to the external power jack. At this time, the power key on
the operation panel is disabled.
1. Power off this device.
2. Remove the battery cover.
