Is the power cord damaged?
– Inspect the power cord for damage and the power plug for accumulation of dust.
(See pages 6 and 11.)

Is the lint filter or air inlet filter blocked with dust? Are the filters set correctly in
place?
– Check the filter cleaning lamp to see if it is lit or blinking. (See pages 22 and 41.)
– Check the air inlet filter to see if it dust is building up. (See pages 19 and 40.)
– Check the lint filter and air inlet filter to see if they are set correctly in place. (See pages 40 to 42.)
1. Stop operation, and make sure that the equipment has sufficiently cooled down.
2. Close the gas cock.
3. Remove the power plug from the power outlet.
4. Put on gloves before starting daily maintenance.
• If the operation indicators or warning labels attached to the equipment become dirty or are no longer legible, wipe off dirt with a soft, dry cloth.
