The following shaft / hub fits are recommended:

Table 7.4: Recommended fits

The axial position is normally achieved through the correct interference fit on the shaft and does
not require any additional securing. In the event of a loose fit between shaft and hub or vertical
installation, additional measures must be taken to secure the axial position. In such cases, a
locking screw in accordance with DIN EN ISO 4029 or a locking washer, for example, could be
used. The need for additional axial securing should be communicated to RINGSPANN.
