Installing the software
To install CD Designer, place the CD Designer disc in your PC disc tray and follow the prompts.
Installing the printer driver
You must install the driver for the Prism Plus before you can use the printer with any label editing
software.
This procedure describes how to install the printer driver for Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Before you begin
If CD Designer is open, exit it.

Important! If the Windows Logo testing dialog box opens, select Continue Anyway .
1. Navigate to the print area settings.
•
In Windows 2000, navigate : Start > Settings > Printers. The Printers dialog box opens.

In Windows XP, navigate : Start > Printers and Faxes. The Printers and Faxes dialog box
opens.

Important! If you have an earlier version of the Rimage Prism Plus printer driver, delete it
before continuing.
2. Add the printer driver.
a. Select Add Printer
b. Select Next .
