To Install the Option
DG800 provides various options (for option information, refer to "Accessories and
Options") to expand the function of the signal generator. If you need to purchase
the option, please contact RIGOL sales representative. If you have ordered this
option, you can obtain the corresponding key. Perform the following operations to
install the option.
1. Acquire the license of the option

Log in to the
RIGOL
official website (www.rigol.com), click License
Activation at the bottom of the webpage to enter the "Registered product
license code" interface.

Input the correct key, serial number (press Utility

System Info to
acquire the serial number of the instrument) and verification code. Click
Generate to acquire the option license. In the license generation interface,
click Download to download and save the license file to the PC.
2. Install the Option
You can install the option via the following 2 methods.
1) Install the option by reading the license file from the USB storage device
The content and format requirements of the option installation file are as
follows.

The filename suffix must be ".lic".

Contents requirement:
Line 1: option license code;
Line 2: empty line (cannot be omitted).
Note: When inputting the option license obtained in Step 1, omit the
hyphens.
Procedures for installing the option:

Edit the option installation file that meets the above requirements and
save it to the USB storage device.

Power on the instrument and insert the USB storage device. Press
Store to enter the store and recall interface.

In the store and recall interface, refer to "Store and Recall" to complete
reading the option installation file according to the following step.
Select "Disk D" to select the above file, and tap the Read menu label.
