ADJUSTMENTS
ALIGNING THE LASER GUIDE LINE
See Figure 59.
DANGER:
Laser radiation. Avoid direct eye contact with light
source.
WARNING:
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein can
result in hazardous radiation exposure.
Using a straight edge or square, draw a mark on the tile
with a marker or grease pencil.
Lock sliding table and secure frame.
Place the material on the table and firmly against the miter
guide and fence.
Plug the saw into the power source and make a slight
cut to score the tile.
When the cut is made, turn the saw
OFF
. Wait for the
cutting wheel to come to a complete stop.
Roll sliding table away from cutting wheel.
Turn on the laser.

To adjust the laser angle:
Loosen the lock screw a 1/4 of a turn so the laser can be
adjusted.
NOTE:
Do not remove the lock screw.
Using the 5 mm end of the hex key, rotate the angle ad-
justment screw. The laser angle will rotate in the same
direction as the screw.
Rotate the laser angle clockwise or counter-clockwise
until properly aligned with the cut in the tile.
Once aligned, tighten the lock screw.
To adjust the laser left or right:
Loosen the horizontal adjustment screw on the laser
bracket.
Move the laser bracket left or right until the laser is properly
aligned with the cut in the tile.
Once aligned, tighten the adjustment screw, then close
and lock the wheel guard.
NOTE:
Always make practice cuts on scrap material before
cutting through your workpiece.
