BATTERY PACK INSTALLATION
WARNING:
Turn unit OFF before removing/installing the
battery pack.

Lithium Ion Battery Pack and Charger sold
separately.
INSTALLATION OF BATTERY PACK (Fig. 3)
NOTE:
Use ONLY RIDGID brand Battery Packs.
The HD03180 will operate with the following Battery
Packs:

1. Push down on the Side Battery Compartment Lid
Latch, located at the top left of the Powerhead
Assembly (A). Open the Side Battery Compartment
Lid to expose the Battery Pack Receptacle.
2. With the Release Buttons positioned at the top of
the fully charged Battery Pack, slide the Battery
Pack down onto the Wet/Dry Vac Battery Pack
Receptacle. The Battery Pack should engage into
the Battery Pack Receptacle terminal until you hear
an audible click.
NOTE:
Do Not push the Release Buttons on the Battery
Pack at this time.
3. While holding the Cordless Wet/Dry Vac with one
hand, Close the Side Battery Compartment Lid.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not handle
battery pack with wet hands or place wet battery
pack into charger.

REMOVAL OF BATTERY PACK (Fig. 4)
1. Push down on the Side Battery Compartment Lid
Latch, located at the top left of the Powerhead
Assembly (A). Open the Side Battery Compartment
Lid to expose the Battery Pack.
2. Press both Release Buttons, located on each side
of the Battery Pack, at the same time and slide
the Battery Pack up and off the Battery Pack
Receptacle.
3. Plug the Battery Pack Charger (sold separately) into
a Wall Receptacle and place Battery Pack into the
Charger to recharge the Battery Pack.
4. While holding the Cordless Wet/Dry Vac with one
hand, Close the Side Battery Compartment Lid, until
Battery is fully charged and ready to be reinstalled.
